Hanano Kimochi: Listening to a Flower's Heart

Good evening, everyone!

Tonight, I’d like to invite you into a little dreamworld through an illustration that’s close to my heart. It’s whimsical, serene, and filled with quiet wonder—a piece that seems to have taken on a life of its own.

Hanano Kimochi: Listening to a Flower's Heart

To be honest, I can’t quite recall what inspired me when I drew it. But I do remember this: I was imagining a world where magic exists in the simplest, most natural forms. A world that whispers its secrets in glowing lights and gentle shadows.

The scene unfolds under a night sky studded with lights that shimmer like scattered jewels. At the heart of this radiant glow, there is a girl. She’s holding something strange yet captivating—a peculiar plant, perhaps a flower—and her gaze is deep, as if she’s listening to the voice of the bloom.

It made me wonder: What would “Hanano Kimochi”—the feelings of a flower—be like?

Maybe a flower feels joy when kissed by sunlight, gratitude for the life-giving rain, and a quiet hope for the future—a dream of one day spreading its seeds to nurture new life. All these tender emotions, perhaps, are quietly contained within its fragile petals.

And in the girl’s eyes—what does she see? Is she glimpsing the flower’s secret dreams? Or perhaps a world that even we cannot imagine.

Through this piece, I hope you too can feel the profound wonder of nature, the fragile beauty of life, and the kindness that seems to connect us all. Thank you for sharing this moment of quiet reflection with me.
